Waffle Iron Breakfast Sandwich (Canned Biscuit Hack)

Hot, crispy breakfast sandwich made in a waffle iron with canned biscuits, scrambled eggs, ham, and cheese. Ready in 90 seconds.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 can jumbo refrigerated biscuits 8 count
  • 4-6 eggs scrambled
  • 8 slices deli ham
  • 8 slices cheese American, cheddar, or Swiss
  • Cooking spray

Method
 

  1. Preheat waffle iron according to manufacturer directions.
  2. Scramble eggs in a skillet and set aside. You’ll need about ½ cup total.
  3. Lightly spray waffle iron with cooking spray (skip if it’s nonstick).
  4. Separate biscuits. Slightly flatten one biscuit with your hands and place it in the waffle iron.
  5. Layer on: 1-2 tablespoons scrambled egg, 1 slice ham (folded to fit), 1 slice cheese.
  6. Flatten a second biscuit and place on top. Close waffle iron.
  7. Cook for 1 minute 30 seconds or until biscuit is golden brown and cooked through. Time varies by waffle iron – check your first sandwich, and adjust if needed.
  8. Carefully remove sandwich (it’ll be hot!) and repeat with remaining biscuits.
