Spicy Tuna Cucumber Bites

These spicy tuna cucumber bites are a quick, no-cook appetizer with just the right amount of heat and crunch. Made with pantry staples and fresh veggies, they’re perfect for entertaining or snacking light.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 8 oz. can water-packed tuna, drained
  • ¼ cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon sriracha sauce
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • Sea salt and black pepper to taste
  • 1 large English cucumber sliced
  • 2 large green onions green parts only, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons white sesame seeds

Method
 

  1. In a medium bowl, combine the drained tuna, mayonnaise, sriracha, and garlic powder. Season with salt and pepper and stir to combine until smooth and creamy.
  2. Spoon the tuna mixture onto each cucumber slice and place on a serving platter.
  3. Just before serving, garnish with sliced green onion and a sprinkle of sesame seeds.

Notes

  • You can make the tuna mixture up to 2 days in advance and store it covered in the fridge. Assemble just before serving for best results.
  • Mix in extra sriracha for more heat or add more mayo to mellow it out.
