Ingredients

  • 2 eggs beaten
  • 2 c. bread crumbs plain or seasoned
  • 20-25 pickle chips drained and dried
  • Cooking spray
  • Your favorite dipping sauce for serving

Equipment

  • Air Fryer

Method

  1. Preheat air fryer to 350°F.
  2. Drain pickle chips from jar. Pat completely dry with paper towels . This is critical for crispy coating.
  3. Set up breading station: Place beaten eggs in one shallow bowl, bread crumbs in another.
  4. Dip each pickle chip in egg, letting excess drip off. Then coat thoroughly in bread crumbs, pressing gently so crumbs stick.
  5. Arrange breaded pickle chips in air fryer basket in a single layer, not touching. Don’t overcrowd. Work in batches if needed.
  6. Spray breaded pickles generously with cooking spray. Don’t skip this, it’s what makes them crispy.
  7. Air fry at 350°F for 6-8 minutes, flipping halfway through. They’re done when golden brown and crispy.
  8. Remove from air fryer and serve immediately with your favorite dipping sauce.
